Z30 Design Notes

ENGINEERING SPECS: Lighter weight adults, average heights, higher cadence, and faster paces.

TUNING: When running very fast, the horizontal accelerations that can cause damage to your feet and joints are significantly increased. The heel and the forefoot should be firmer to best minimize stress on the body.

DROP INFO: We built a 4mm drop into the Z30. This allows more heel cushioning and helps prevent a negative heel drop angle upon impact.

SOLE DESIGN: The outsole has strategically placed crystal rubber to maximize traction with minimal weight. The sole is gently rockered to smooth out the impact and transition to midstance.

MIDSOLE MATERIAL: Vimazi Z-Foam is made with proprietary additives mixed into an EVA base to increase abrasion resistance and elastic properties. Our midsole formulas are the heart of the technology. Many brands falsely claim that their foams help improve running economy. Such claims betray an ignorance of the fundamental mechanics of running with muscle-powered jointed legs.
