The revolution is Bio-Logical

We’re a rebel startup that believes in pursuing the truth, and making life better! We like to say that future begins with a pair of Vimazi Bio-Logic™ shoes.

That's because, traditionally, shoes haven't been designed according to how your body moves or how it's built. Shoes have been made backwards, actually, with the forefoot softer than the heel. In an effort to have shock absorption, traditional running shoes compromise on impact cushioning so that they are not too unstable. Super shoes, in an attempt to give energy back, make the stability problem even worse. Vimazi is changing all that.

We uncovered the physics for how the body moves when running and how the properties of your muscles and tendons are necessary to make it all work. It comes down to understanding how each joint moves and how the leg joints are related to each other. Vimazi makes shoes that help your body mechanically, so that the stress of running is easier to manage.

There are two main aspects to Bio-Logic™ Technology:

  1. The midsole design (softer heel, firmer forefoot) does a better job of reducing impact stress while minimizing the side-to-side stress.
  2. A shoe may be tuned for faster paces to further minimize side-to-side stress and protect the tendons and fascia under the arch.

While most people don't put in a lot of weekly miles at race pace, some people do! For those harder workouts, we offer shoes that are tuned appropriately.

You can't run too fast or too slowly in a pair of Vimazi. You get better stress reduction than traditional shoes either way. At slower cadences, you will get better impact shock reduction in a Z60 or Z70, than a Z40 or Z50, because the heels are softer. At faster paces, you get better lateral protection in a Z40 or Z50, than a Z60 or Z70, because the forefoot is firmer. We give you more control over your stress reduction.
